I own a WHV bred gelding, Maestoso II Omegga (aka Mo). Born in 1999, he is a 16.1h gelding by Maestoso II Ambrosia, out of Omegga. He made his Prix St George debut last Friday with his trainer, Jennifer Coyne-Wilhite. They came second with a score of 59.25% Not too bad, considering he'd never been to this venue before.
He is pretty incredible. The more complex and demanding his work has become, the better he's been at it. His collected work is absolutely lovely. Attached are a couple of pictures from the show. We will be showing a great deal this year so there will be more to come. In previous years we have shown him two or three times a year, just to get him accustomed to going to shows. Now he's reached FEI we will be showing quite a bit more and hope to do well in the All Breeds Awards this year and going forward.
Last year he won the 3rd level high point award at the Warm Up/Cool Down show in August. This is one of the larger shows in N CA.
Thanks,
Jan Hellie

June, just wanted to share a bright spot in my Christmas this year thanks to you!
Max and I are doing well, and wish you a wonderful Christmas holiday! Guess you are even colder than we are at the moment... Deb

Hi June,
Thank you for sending Verona's papers so promptly. I will obtain my LANA membership and send in the transfer of ownership soon.
The vet came out this morning for Verona. She got a few innoculations, was wormed, and had her teeth floated. She was wonderful.
As I told my vet, it is hard for me to determine what she is familiar with and what is new to her as she catches on so quickly. She 'does' fly spray, stands great for the farrier and vet, loves her morning grooming including mane and tail brushing, has been 'sacked out', and comes to me in the field when I call her. She is without a doubt the most outstanding youngster I have ever worked with... and this is just the start of week 2! Our next 'project' will be advanced leading techniques. I want her to queue off my body movements rather than the lead line.
Thanks again for all your help. I hope your upcoming Open House and demonstration days are fun and a great success.
Cordially,
Mary Kafura
